Gaming the Gospels: In a bind

Staff  |  22 May 2018

Using an object such as a doll, and a small rope or piece of string, have one student tie up the doll in the string.

Then get the other students to take turns in trying to untie it. The winner is the person who undoes the string.

Sometimes in life we face situations where we are 'in a bind', and it's difficult to know what to do. Discuss with students some of the situations they might face, and the different things we can do in these situations (e.g. talk with adults, talk with friends, pray to God).

Read Matthew 7:7-11, then discuss how God helps us when we are in a bind.
