Resource: Kitchen table conversations

10 November 2018

Jesuit Social Services has launched a new resource encouraging people to engage in conversations about better justice alternatives for young people.

The #worthasecondchance campaign aims to combat the idea that what young offenders need are harsher sentences, when evidence shows that early intervention and local community programs are more effective in helping them get their lives back on track.

The campaign includes a resource for hosting ‘kitchen table conversations’, aimed at tackling some of the misconceptions.

To register to be sent a copy of the resource, go to www.worthasecondchance.com.au/take-action/register.
