These classroom questions and activities explore making good decisions like the Good Samaritan and being resilient like Jesus. They also examine contemporary contexts, such as resilience through faith in sports and making good decisions on significant issues.
In these eclectic notes, primary school students will look at the sacraments of healing and funeral rites. Older grades will consider what the Bible tells us about suffering and examine how Catholics can use their understanding of reconciliation to heal wounds and repair relationships by considering National Reconciliation Week.
The following questions and activities help students make connections between Catholic theology, social teachings and lived experience. In the early years, we start by taking a look at houses (ours, Jesus’ and God’s) as a way of building the knowledge and skills to do this.
