Human rights for the homeless
Homelessness is a human rights issue. Australia committed, under Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that everyone has the right to housing. Despite this, more than 120,000 people in Australia are homeless. Australia has breached its obligations. We need a cyclone of change to eradicate homelessness.

Where should I sleep tonight?
These images depict anti-homelessness architecture. The government, and other organisations implement these types of architectural designs to prevent unhoused people from sleeping in the area. I want to raise awareness around this often-overlooked issue in Melbourne. Preventing vulnerable people from accessing the most basic public amenities is inhumane.

SENIOR PHOTOGRAPH
Sustainability Club
Our school prides itself on caring deeply for the environment. Our sustainability teacher collects and recycles batteries so they don’t end up in landfill. Whenever there are leftovers from the canteen, they are fed to the chickens or composted to help save the environment and save money.
